Parker Hybrid Dryers

MXLE Large Flow Low Energy Heatless Compressed Air Dryer

Large flow low energy modular compressed air dryers providing pressure dew points of -70°C and -40°C (-20°C option) with flow rates up to 2040 m³/hr @ 7 barg, even greater flow rates can be achieved by multi-banking the dryers.

WVM Series Large Flow Low Energy Vacuum Regenerated Compressed Air Dryer

Low energy large flow industrial compressed air dryers providing flow rates up to 7300m³/h @ 7 barg with a dew point of -40°C (-20°C and -70°C options). Energy savings of up to 25%.

Antares Plus-E Green Hybrid Technology Low Energy Compressed Air Dryer

Green, low energy Hybrid Technology dryers for compressed air applications in industrial and processing markets. Providing volume flows up to 2040 m³/h @ 7 bar g at a dew point of -40°C (-20°C and -70°C options available).

The MXLE compressed air dryer has been specifically designed to provide all of the benefits of an MX heatless adsorption dryer with the additional benefits of lower energy costs and lower environmental impact via its vacuum regeneration method, allowing around 17% more of the generated clean, dry compressed air to be used across the plant.

The MXLE compressed air dryer Includes pre and post OIL-X filters which have been third party tested in accordance with ISO12500-1 / ISO8573-4 resulting in delivered air quality in accordance with ISO8573-1.

The modular construction allows greater flexibility; like MX, models can be multi-banked to provide extra compressed air drying capacity should demand increase. This distinctive feature allows 100% stand by at a fraction of the cost of a traditional twin tower dryer and also allows individual dryers to be easily isolated for routine service work, whilst maintaining the plants clean, dry air supply. MXLE also offers the extra security of a full back up mode, in the unlikely event of a fault occurring with the vacuum pump, the dryer can be operated in full heatless mode to keep the plant operational.

At full load conditions, MXLE has an average 60% lower energy consumption than a comparative heatless dryer and an average 39% lower energy consumption than a comparative heat regenerative dryer. These energy savings increase in periods of low air demand due to the integrated Energy Saving Technology (EST) which is fitted as standard.

The compressed air dryer is manufactured with materials of construction that meet FDA Title 21 and are EC1935-2004 exempt; meaning the MXLE compressed air dyer is ideally suited for food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries and applications.

Sizing and Selection

To ensure quoted air purity performance is met, a compressed air dryer must be sized correctly for minimum operating pressure, maximum inlet temperature and maximum inlet flow rate using the correction factors found in the Product Information Sheet.

Product Information Sheet

Parker Generation 5 WVM compressed air dryers provide an energy efficient heat regenerated compressed air drying solution for large scale compressed air applications. Ideal for electronics and automotive production plants but suitable for all general manufacturing industries where typically high volume flows and low pressure dewpoints are required.

Providing energy savings of up to 25% compared to conventional systems, WVM series compressed air dryers can be equipped with heat exchangers that allow steam or other available process heat sources to be used for heat regeneration. This alternative regeneration process can be employed in addition to or instead of the standard electrical heaters, resulting in even higher energy savings.

Features:

  • Constant outlet dewpoint in accordance with ISO8573-1 classes 1, 2 or 3 for water vapour & -40°C PDP (other PDP: -20°C / -70°C on request)
  • Full feature electronic control with dewpoint display and Energy Saving Technology fitted as standard
  • Large flow capacities
  • Active heating under vacuum
  • Various options for optimal adaptability to customer needs
  • Basic thermal insulation fitted as standard (high performance additional option required for PDP greater than -40°C)

Benefits:

  • Low energy costs
  • No process air loss
  • Regeneration under vacuum further improves energy efficiency
  • Low regeneration temperature

WVM series compressed air dryers combine highest quality and reliability with the added peace of mind of being covered by a two year extended warranty scheme*, as well as being backed by a variety of global approvals.

Product Information Sheet

The Antares Plus-E hybrid technology low energy dryer (ATT+ 060-340) is a green and eco-friendly solution integrating the principles of refrigeration and adsorption into a single compact compressed air treatment package, resulting in a highly efficient, economic and low maintenance drying solution, with particular attention to the environment thanks to the use of a low GWP refrigerant (R513A).

Antares Plus-E dryers deliver a cost-effective solution across a wide range of industrial and processing applications. Furthermore, they are especially suited for general purpose applications with external piping: in warmer months, the adsorption dryer can be bypassed to save energy and simply be reinstated in colder months when a refrigeration dryer dewpoint would be insufficient to prevent condensation in external piping.

Features

• Lower GWP refrigerant (R513A), in line with the requirements of the F-Gas regulation.

• Touch screen controller with integrated MODBUS RTU / TCP IP on all sizes.

• Industry 4.0 and IoT ready.

• LED and pressure gauge indicators.

• Improved energy efficiency, thanks to optimized cycling and stand by time.

• Integrated electronic capacitive drain on all models.

• Improved maintenance operation, thanks to data log via USB port. Easier service access, and removable filter insulation.

Benefits

  • ATT+ dryers provide a constant outlet dewpoint in accordance with ISO8573-1 classes 1, 2, 3 or 4 for water vapour.
  • User can set customisable dewpoints
  • ATT+ dryers use clean, dry purge air for regeneration, eliminating any risk of damage to the adsorption bed or re-contamination of the downstream compressed air.
  • Adsorption dryer can be switched off and bypassed during warmer months to increase energy savings (running as a refrigeration dryer only).
  • ATT+ fridge side uses R513A refrigerant with low GWP, in line with the requirements of the F-Gas regulation, protects the environment and prevents from potential disruptions coming from refrigerants with higher GWP.
  • Low maintenance costs, thanks to a longer desiccant lifetime, and reduced desiccant quantity.
  • Quick maintenance operation. Thanks to easy service access, removable filter insulation, data log via USB port, HP / LP gauges on all models and service indicators.
  • Very low running costs with a reduction in energy consumption of up to 60% compared to non-hybrid drying solutions.
