How does booster technology work?

Air or nitrogen is compressed in a single-stage pump using the standard operating cycle of a piston compressor. Compression starts at a low pressure moving through the joint work of the inlet and outlet solenoid valves. The compressed air or nitrogen then enters the booster where it is further compressed up to 40 bar, in a single stage. The inlet pressure switch stops the booster when the inlet pressure exceeds the maximum allowed value or drops below the minimum allowed value. Cooling is provided by the axial fan installed on the shaft of the booster. The booster is lubricated by the oil in the crankcase. The crankcase is vented via the oil separator and the oil breather, which allows operation with minimum oil carryover.

bstAIR 300 - Air & Nitrogen booster

The reliable air and nitrogen booster

Many industrial processes require high-pressure compressed air or nitrogen. These include laser cutting, plastics, metallurgy, and bottle filling. The bstAIR 300 delivers up to 300 bar pressure with a flow range of 0.20 m³/min to 0.83 m³/min. Highly efficient and always reliable, the bstAIR 300 gives you plug-and-play installation, low noise levels, quality air, and easy operation.

How does the bstAIR 300 work?

Air or nitrogen is compressed in a multistage pump using the standard operating cycle of a piston compressor. Compression starts at a low pressure with the air or gas moving through the inlet and outlet solenoid valves. It then enters the two stages of the booster, where it is further compressed to reach a maximum working pressure of 300 bar. To protect the unit, the inlet pressure sensor stops the booster when the inlet pressure exceeds the maximum allowed value or drops below the minimum value. Cooling is provided by the axial fan installed on the shaft of the booster. The bstAIR 300 utilizes a combined forced and splash lubrication system. The crankcase is vented via the oil separator and the oil breather to limit oil consumption.
